Although many politicians are known for cross-carpeting to winning political parties whenever their political positions are threatened, the action of the deputy governor of Zamfara State, Barrister Mahdi Aliyu Mohammed seems to be different from the norm. This young, vibrant politician has refused to cross carpet from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress after his boss, Bello Matawalle cross-carpeted.

In our today’s political discussion, we will be discussing what Joe Igbokwe said after Barrister Aliyu cried out for help.

Joe Igbokwe has reacted after Barr Aliyu cried out for help over the impeachment threat he is receiving. The outspoken APC Chieftain while reacting to the news accused the young man of betraying his boss. According to Igbokwe, the embattled deputy governor thinks he will still remain the deputy governor of the state after betraying his boss by refusing to cross carpet to the APC. They opined that Barr Aliyu should be appreciated for remaining loyal to the party that made him rather than jumping ship with his boss to the APC.
