61st Independence day: We Need More Prayers To Tackle  insecurity-IWA

As Nigeria marks her 61st independence anniversary today,  a member of All Progressive Congress, (APC), Honourable Igbalaye Ayodele Wasiu (IWA) has said that Nigeria needs more prayers to tackle insecurity rocking the nation.

 

He urged Nigerians to pray fervently for the country.

The popular Philanthropist,  made this known on Thursday through a statement signed by his media adviser, Adeyemi Obadimu.

Igbalaye noted that the only way to celebrate the country is to pray fo the country.

The former house of Assembly member aspirant noted that  kidnapping and bandits are the crucial challenges the country is facing.

He also use the opportunity to advise the youths to participate more in politics as 2023 election gathers momentum, adding that youth are no more the leaders of tomorrow but leaders of today.

“The only way we can be relevant and claim our mandate is to be active and participate more in politics, “France President is a youth like me and you and we have other youth doing well in political position all over the globe, this is the right time to claim our mandate and participate more in Nigeria politics”, IWA added.

IWA however commended the leadership of Gov Dapo Abiodun on his infrastructural development in the state.

He also gave kudos to Abeokuta south local government leaders and elders for putting the APC structure in the right place.
