MAGBORO POWER UPDATE: gods appeased as IBEDC releases power supply schedule for October 2021

 

After the last meeting held between representatives of IBEDC Mowe hub and Concerned Community members due to the sacrificial offering placed at Magboro IBEDC Insulator for lack of electricity power supply by unknown persons, the Regional Business Manager, Mr Gbenga Adewusi appeals for the atonement and removal of both the padlock and sacrifice with the help of His Royal Majesty, Oba Modiu Ademuyiwa, Olu Akeran of Magboro land and Community leaders because of its negative effects on the staff of IBEDC and Consumers.


Magboro CDC Chairman Engr. Oladosun who lead other Community Development Council members and Ibafo Electricity Consumers Forum requested for a stable or reasonable power supply within the axis while also promising and willing pay for electricity power consumed.

As at Friday 8th October, 2021 the spiritual cleansing was conducted by some Native Traditional Chiefs at the Isolator to remove the sacrifice so that IBEDC staff can resume work and Isolator becomes operational.

Subsequently,the Mowe/Ibafo/Magboro Regional Business manager, Mr Gbenga Adewusi appreciates the Traditional Rulers of Magboro Akeran and Abule Oko, all the Community Development Council members and IBEDC consumers for their patient and understanding during the period of power outage caused by the unfortunate incident and also made available the new electricity power supply schedule with time and date for the month of October based on the reflections of present realities and further seek more cooperation from the community and consumers.
