16-Year Old Boy Turns Author, Launches Book In Ogun 

 
A 16- year old  boy, David Albert has   launched a book titled “Dare To  Hope” in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
 
David who just graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic International college, Abeokuta, said that his reason for writing the book was based on his belief that Nigeria will soon be free from challenges.
 
 

He also said the book was his contribution towards societal reformation and moral regeneration.

David added that he was moved to write the books significantly for helping to set Nigeria on the path of moral rectitude.

 
He said “I was unhappy with the way things are going in the country, when I see people losing faith in the country, it breaks my heart, because Nigeria has everything we need to be great, population,  resources,  manpower, but because of many force and entities, Nigeria has been deprived of her glory. 
 
“Obviously, we know we are the leaders of tomorrow,  but we leaders of tomorrow are so relaxed and uninterested, some of us engage into some vices that have  impeded the growth of the country. I feel so bad when I see when my mates and some youths  joining all sorts of things that tarnish  like Yahoo, drugs, Armed Robbery and the likes. When I looked at them I see that these people have potentials to do a lot of things.  
 
“I’m not the most gifted person and I’m not most talented, am not most brilliant, but with what I have and the resource I have around me I was able to utilize it efficiently to bring about what it is today.  If people can use what they have around them there’s no how Nigeria will surely be great.  
 
“No matter how big the problem is,  we should not lose hope,  we all know right from wrong, if we can work through the right path of the  to advance cause of a better Nation, there’s nothing that is impossible. No matter where you found yourself,  utilize it very, don’t venture into Illegal. 
 
Meanwhile, the Commandant of SO-SAFE Corps in Ogun State Mr Soji Gonzalo while unveiling the book tasked parents to stop from giving chances to their children in getting involved in illegality, such as yahoo yahoo and other social vices.
 
“Parents should prevent  their children from involving in internet fraud for the benefit of everyone of us, we must all appreciate David efforts,  aside yahoo,  as serious minded youth,  you can write a book online be earning your money in dollars, instead of engaging in internet fraud.  
 
David’s mother Mrs Olufunmi Albert,  added that she was  so proud of David, adding that she has always been supporting him whenever he is doing the right thing.  
 
She advised all parents to always support their children whenever they are doing the right thing.
