The Ogun State Chairman of Afenifere,a social political group,Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje has enjoinED Nigerians and Ogun State residents in particular to ensure they arm themselves with their voters card as the electioneering year gets closer to choose their desired leaders discretely and wisely.
The leader made this assertion during Ogun state chapter of the Socio- Political group’s first general meeting held on Tuesday 18th, January 2022 in Ogun State.
According to him,” Nigerians can achieve their desired nation through the ballot box and not by means of carrying weapons.The challenges facing Nigeria and Nigerians were not caused by invisible persons or Spirits but by some greedy and corrupt Nigerians which are not necessarily tied to religion,ethnicity or political affiliation.”
Otunba Agbaje also admonished Nigerians and Ogun State residents to be security conscious while traveling through the Lagos / Ibadan expressway because of recent incidents of Kidnappings and Robbery operations by Criminals in Security uniforms.He called on the Federal and Ogun State government to employ security measures for a lasting solution towards a genuine safety of its citizenry.

Also speaking at the meeting,a leader of Afenifere, Sen.(Dr) Femi Okurounmu reiterated that 2023 general elections is very crucial to the transformation and betterment of Nigeria as a nation,therefore all hands must be on deck to choose the right candidates from a committed and people centered political party.Nigerians can not afford to make a wrong choice again,he added.
