In the nascent era of Prof Soludo’s administration, the newly formed Executive Cabinet members aggregated under a roof for an intensive orientation course, wherein the enthusiastic governor defined the shape, color and direction of the new government.
Also, we read in the media that Governor Soludo invited best hands, world renowned resource persons on leadership and other related courses to train and refresh the minds of the fledgling Executive Cabinet members.
Now, considering the vile behavior reportedly exhibited by the Commissioner for Education during the recent Teacher’s screening and revalidation exercise, which obviously, attracted bad press to the new government, the big question on many lips is “who scribbled the watery “rebuttal” Chief Press Secretary Aburime published and shared widely on social media?”
At the last check, I’m aware that this government parades notable, quality media personnels in her kitty. It’s baffling how the CPS rushed to his keyboard to lace-up a poorly scripted “damage-control” peice, without a close study of the prevailing situation.
The Chief Press Secretary Aburime should know how best to aviod provoking unhealthy emotions, while wriggling out of the trending leadership quagmire the Commissioner for Education is enmeshed in.
Finally, the ability to read and interpret events accordingly should be an added bonus to the Anambra state governor’s mouthpiece. I hereby propose a beneficial synergy between the Commissioner for Information and the Chief Press Secretary, type that would ultimately produce the desired effects, and leads to greater success.
