Job Title: Train Station Security Guards
Job Summary:
The Train Station Security Guard/Personnel will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the train station, its personnel, passengers, and property. The successful candidate will be expected to patrol the premises, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to security incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol the train station premises to prevent unauthorized access and monitor for suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems, to ensure the safety and security of the station.
• Respond to security incidents such as theft, vandalism, and trespassing in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed.

• Monitor the movement of trains in and out of the station and ensure that they are safe and secure.
• Provide directions and assistance to passengers and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and other relevant information.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR would be an added advantage.

Job Title: Control Room Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Control Room Manager to oversee the operations of the control room at a train station.
The Control Room Manager will be responsible for managing a team of operators and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains in and out of the station.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise a team of control room operators, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols
• Monitor and control the flow of trains in and out of the station, ensuring that trains are on time and that schedules are met
• Manage communication between train crews, station staff, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner, and coordinate with emergency services as required
• Ensure that all necessary records and logs are kept up to date and that all reports are submitted on time
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that any faults or defects are promptly reported and rectified
• Continuously review and improve operational procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and safety
• Develop and implement training programs for control room operators, including safety training, technical training, and customer service training
• Manage budget and resources, ensuring that expenditures are within budget and that resources are used effectively
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:
• Minimum of HND or BSC in any related field with at least Lower Credit or Second Class Lower
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a train station or transportation environment
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Sound knowledge of train station operations and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations
• Proficient in the use of computer systems and software applications relevant to train station operations.
