Israeli security forces carried out an overnight operation in the Judea & Samaria city of Qalqilya, eliminating a wanted Arab suspected of planning an imminent terror attack, along with two additional terrorists, according to a joint statement by the IDF, Shin Bet, and police.
The raid was conducted by a combined unit of IDF and police special forces, following intelligence provided by the Shin Bet indicating that the main suspect intended to launch an attack targeting Israeli civilians in the near future.
As troops moved in, the suspect opened fire, prompting the Israeli forces to retaliate with live ammunition, shoulder-fired rockets, and a drone strike, ultimately killing all three individuals.
A homemade automatic weapon was discovered at the scene. No Israeli forces were injured during the operation.
