The Social Democratic Party Chairmanship Candidate at the just concluded local government elections of 24th of July 2021, hon Lateef Olaniyi Tiamiyu popularly known as Lot, has aired his opinion
about allegations against a deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari.This is a litmus test for Nigeria as a nation as the world is expecting the final verdict of the police force and police service commission.
It is obvious that the APC- led government is unnecessarily protecting DCP Abba Kyari from being extradited to the United States. Knowing fully well that lot of cans of worms will be let out if extradited to answer questions related to the allegations.
Where is the rule of law that has been deceitfully preached by the government?
It is my considered opinion that DCP Abba Kyari should be allowed to honour the FBI and clear the air about the allegations against him.
He can not be proven innocent unless he honors the invitation to be investigated. There is no big deal in answering questions of allegations if one’s hands are clean,I’m not saying that Abba Kyari is guilty, that is left for a competent court to decide.
