Bàale of Mamu land Hails Abiodun over appointments of new Accountant General, Solicitor General Others

The newly installed Baale of Mamu land, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Chief Fredrick Ayotokunbo Fadipe FIIP on Saturday hailed the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for approving the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries and a new Accountant General for the State.

The statement on the appointments was made known by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, who said “the new appointees will fill the existing vacancies among the rank of Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service.

“Seniority, merit, professionalism and inclusiveness are considered in the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries and the Accountant General for the State in the exercise of the Governor’s power under the provision of Section 208 (c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended)”.

The veteran journalist equally applauded the present administration over projects embarked upon in the state and called for more developmental projects within the state capital.

According to the Baale,” Appointment is a clarion call to service towards the well being of humanity and their jurisdictions. We are moving towards electioneering season,therefore service rendered will further place the present administration’s of Prince Dapo Abiodun achievements in the conscious mind of residents of the gateway state positively whose mantras is “Building Our Future Together” Agenda of the Administration.

The new Permanent Secretaries are:

i. Mr. Waheed Adesina;
ii. Mr. Adetayo Adewale;
iii. Mr. Adedayo Oluyemi Somoye;
iv. Mr. Oluwaseyi Sokoya;
v. Dr Qudus Adegboyega Yusuf;
vi. Mr. Adenopo Adegbenga; and
vii. Dr. Oladeinde Moshood Kayode.

According to the statement received, Messrs Adebayo Bamidele and Mr. Aregbesola Thomas Babatunde will function as the State’s new Solicitor General and Accountant General respectively.

Chief Fredrick Ayotokunbo Fadipe FIIP also seized the opportunity to call on Governor Abiodun to consider and look keenly into the plights of citizens whose landed properties or Buildings genuinely fall along road construction to be adequately compensated as the presents economic challenges in the country bites hard on them.
